ON THE FIELD

Beyond the Numbers

Football has been a major part of my life, and I take pride in being a player my coaches and teammates can depend on. My biggest strengths are my leadership and football IQ. I work to understand the game, recognize what’s happening on the field, communicate with my teammates, and make decisions that put our team in the best position to succeed.

As a running back, I use my vision, speed, and decision-making to read the field, find openings, and make plays. I also take pride in the parts of the position that don’t always show up in the stats, especially blocking and protecting my quarterback. Defensively, I rely on my instincts, knowledge of the game, and ability to read plays to make an impact and create opportunities for my team.

To me, leadership starts with holding myself accountable and doing my job to the best of my ability. I believe I have to lead myself first before I can help the people around me get better. That mindset carries over into the classroom, where I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA, and into the way I train and prepare for football.

My goal is to continue developing as a student-athlete at the college level, contribute wherever my team needs me, and become the best player, teammate, and person I can be. I’m looking for a program that will challenge me academically and athletically and give me the opportunity to compete, grow, and make an impact.
